2024 Senior Thesis Exhibition

A tradition continues as Skidmore’s annual studio art majors’ Senior Thesis Exhibition takes place May 9-18, at the Tang Teaching Museum. An opening reception is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 10. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Skidmore College Art Department.

Thirty-three senior studio art majors will be displaying their work as a capstone to their studies at Skidmore College. The Art Department provides courses in numerous studio art disciplines including ceramics, communication design, drawing, painting, digital media, fiber arts, jewelry and metals, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

Students whose work will be exhibited are: Tori Adams, Miguel Aliaga Achaval, Christopher Arnold III, Soren Balkaran, Jayo Chandler, Sara Dougall, Naomi Epstein, Xander Farmer, Bella Friedman, Anna Goodwin, Piper Ingels, Chelsea Knoll, Brian Labra Vergara, Eli Leary, Kira Levin, Anna Macomber, MaryDrew Mason-Hill, Hannah McArdle, Sofia McGowan, Thomas Myhill, Gabrielle Paisner, Kate Phetteplace, Fiona Promisel, Abby Sahs, Tyler Schoenecker, Emily Seltzer, Leah Shields, Ella Siff-Scherr, Di Tran, Helena Wilson, Ava Wood, Jianing Zhao, and Nicole Zheng.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.

  • Thursday, May 9, noon to 9 pm

  • Friday, May 10, 9 am to 8 pm: Opening Reception 6 to 8 pm

  • Saturday and Sunday, May 11 & 12, noon to 5 pm

  • Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday, May 13, 14, & 15, 9 am to 5 pm

  • Thursday, May 16, 9 am to 9 pm

  • Friday, May 17, 9 am to 6 pm

  • Saturday, May 18, noon to 6 pm
